Project: ‘Mama’ by Kate Lawrence Interiors
‘Mama’ by Kate Lawrence interiors is the heartfelt redesign of her family home where her parents still live. It’s one thing to design beautiful homes for clients (which Kate does so well!), but it’s a whole other thing when it comes to redesigning your own childhood family home.
Located in Menai, just southwest of Sydney, you'll find ‘Mama’ - a special project that's all about family. Known for her signature style of creating calming neutral interiors with luxury finishes and interesting textures throughout, Kate has given their family home a fresh new look, opening up the space and letting in as much light as possible through the use of skylights and maximising on the extra high ceilings. Kate has used a mix of soft, natural colors and textures to tie everything together and make it feel cozy and inviting, just how a family home should. They wanted the place to feel big and open inside, while also making the most of the amazing views and the natural surroundings.
